Why Cookstoves, this week

Tanzania granted BURN a second Letter of Authorisation covering about 785,000 corresponding-adjusted credits, over 40 percent pre-sold. The UN's Article 6.4 panel advanced two clean-cooking methodologies and a push toward metered usage. Gold Standard opened the group that decides which cooking instruments count under Ongoing Emissions Responsibility after 2030. Rwanda said it will authorise fewer, better projects. Cookstoves are where the market's next integrity rules get tested first.
