The project that vanished came back with a new name
Verra project 5584 dropped out of the registry export last week. This week it is back as Krasop Blue Carbon, with a new proponent, a new validator and a three-methodology stack. Here is what a delisting followed by a relisting usually means.

The vanished mangrove project returns, and two projects register in one week
Project 5584 reappears as Krasop Blue Carbon under Climate+ Pte Ltd with a three-methodology stack. Watch whether the community agreements that sat under the old Peam Krasaob listing carried over. (registry record)
Lomphat Wildlife Sanctuary REDD+ registered with the Ministry of Environment as proponent: a government-proponent REDD+ at 690,000 t/yr is a template for jurisdictional-style deals in the Mekong. (registry record)
Prey Moan cookstoves registered. Cambodia now has 23 registered and 19 pipeline projects, the most balanced ledger in the region. (registry record)
A roadmap, a flagship, and a new ARR listing approved in the same fortnight
MinTrees Horizon (Kennemer, 171,547 t/yr ARR) moved to Pipeline listing approved. Kennemer is the most active ARR developer in the country and this is its second Verra listing. (registry record)
Green Samar (aDryada, 312,464 t/yr, VM0047) sits at listing requested under validation with EcoLance as validator. The DENR roadmap names it as one of two Verra-registered forest projects nationwide; the registry says it is not registered yet. source ↗
DENR's 2026–2030 Voluntary Forest Carbon Roadmap (DAO 2026-02) is the first explicit invitation to private project finance and the domestic prerequisite for any Letter of Authorisation. source ↗
A third of the region's pipeline, and the first REDD+ to public comment in months
Gerbang Barito REDD+ (275,000 t/yr, REDD+ plus wetlands) opened its public comment period. It joins Kahayan and Muara Teweh, listed last week, as the third Central Kalimantan conservation project to move in a fortnight. (registry record)
Indonesia holds 35 listed and 34 in-validation projects, 69 of the region's 222 pre-issuance projects, but only 30 registered. The bottleneck is validation, not origination. (registry record)
The state draws a line, and Sabah's flagship steps back a stage
Kuamut Rainforest Conservation (Permian Malaysia, 543,049 t/yr, IFM) moved from Registered to Verification approval requested this week. A step back on the registry the same week Sabah's Chief Minister said the state will not allow unvetted projects to be rushed to market. (registry record)
Malaysia is preparing eligibility whitelists and a sale limit on Article 6 exports to protect its NDC. Sabah's 2025 Climate Change and Carbon Governance Enactment now gates every project in the state, with Indigenous inclusion required. source ↗
The buyer of record for the region, and a registered removals project of its own
CarbonCure's Asia #1 concrete removals project registered: Singapore's first registered engineered removal on Verra. (registry record)
Stage 2 of the 12 Mt ITMO tender briefed pre-qualified bidders on 23 September. Eligible supplier countries include the Philippines, Vietnam and Laos; Singapore needs roughly 2.5 Mt a year to 2030. source ↗
1 new listing, 8 status changes, 3 newly registered.
Last week this briefing reported a first: Peam Krasaob, a 1.26 Mt/yr Cambodian mangrove REDD+ project, had dropped out of the Verra export entirely. This week project 5584 is back as Krasop Blue Carbon: new proponent (Climate+ Pte Ltd), new validator (EPIC Sustainability), a smaller 562,000 t/yr estimate, and a methodology stack of VM0033 tidal wetlands, VM0007 REDD+ and VM0047 ARR. A disappearance followed by a relisting is how a project changes hands without a press release. Three projects reached Registered in the same week: Lomphat Wildlife Sanctuary REDD+ (Cambodia, 690,000 t/yr, proponent the Ministry of Environment), Cambodia's Prey Moan cookstove programme, and CarbonCure's concrete removals project in Singapore. One went the other way: Kuamut Rainforest Conservation in Sabah moved from Registered to Verification approval requested.
